Getting Started

What does MedPlus RCM do?

MedPlus RCM provides end-to-end revenue cycle management for medical practices: medical billing, medical coding, provider credentialing and enrollment, denial management and recovery, accounts receivable recovery, and real-time financial analytics and reporting.

How long does onboarding take?

Onboarding typically takes 2–4 weeks.

What is the free financial audit?

A free review of your practice’s revenue cycle — claim denials, accounts receivable aging, coding accuracy, credentialing gaps, payer performance, and charge capture — delivered as a written findings report with a prioritized action plan. You keep the findings whether or not you move forward.

Pricing

How does MedPlus RCM price its services?

Pricing is performance-based: a percentage of collections, tailored to your practice. No single rate is published because the right percentage depends on your practice size, specialty, payer mix, current revenue cycle health, and the services you need. Your exact rate is quoted after a free financial audit.

Is there a flat monthly fee?

No. MedPlus RCM’s model is a percentage of collections, so the fee moves with what your practice actually collects.

Billing and Coding

What is a clean claim rate, and what does MedPlus RCM report?

The clean claim rate is the share of claims accepted by payers without rejection or denial on first submission. Practices working with MedPlus RCM report a 99% clean claim rate.

Who handles our medical coding?

Certified coders handle coding, reviewing whether claims reflect the full scope of the care documented and flagging undercoding, overcoding risk, and missing documentation.

How fast will we get paid?

Practices working with MedPlus RCM run accounts receivable under 30 days. Your own turnaround depends on your payers and your starting A/R position, which the free audit measures.

Credentialing and Enrollment

Do you handle provider credentialing and enrollment?

Yes — end-to-end provider enrollment and credentialing is one of MedPlus RCM’s core services, including checking whether slow or incomplete enrollment is blocking payments.

Denials and Accounts Receivable

What happens to denied claims?

Denied claims go through denial management and recovery: the denial reason is identified, the claim is corrected and resubmitted where appropriate, and repeat denial patterns are fixed at the source so they stop recurring.

What about old, unpaid balances?

Accounts receivable recovery works aged balances — including the 60, 90 and 120+ day buckets — to collect what is still collectible and clean up what is not.

Security and Compliance

Is MedPlus RCM HIPAA compliant?

Yes — MedPlus RCM is 100% HIPAA compliant, and audit data is shared through a secure, HIPAA-compliant process.
